Rita Bejarano was the adopted mother and grandmother for many families in Carbondale and the Roaring Fork Valley. Rita would be the first person in line to offer assistance and was always willing to lend a helping hand. The Rita B. Fund was created to keep Rita’s loving and caring spirit alive. To be a source of assistance so that no child is denied the opportunity to run, play, create and learn.

Smiling Goat Ranch brings the healing effects of horses, movement, nature and an impassioned, supportive community to anyone with neuropsychiatric conditions including Autism, depression, anxiety, and PTSD, as well as veterans, women in recovery, and those affected by grief, trauma, and related conditions. All of their programs are offered to families free of charge.

Sopris Children’s Fund serves the Roaring Fork Valley community with the mission to help children in need. Their team understands that many children face hardships all year long. Sopris Children's Fund mission is to make sure that guardians of children in our community can apply for assistance when needs arise.
